Let’s face it. Just because we, as men, are thinking about sex almost constantly, that doesn’t meant that our girlfriends and spouses are also thinking the same. Normally it can be just the opposite. If we give into our obnoxious sex drives and persist on them constantly, it drives ladies crazy—in a bad way.

She also likes sex otherwise she wouldn’t be in a relationship with you. What she needs from sex is often different than what you need, and it’s important in any relationship to understand that. She wants to be seduced and she wants to feel wanted. And what better way to get that point across to her than by setting the mood in the best ways possible?

Make the Atmosphere Romantic

As we’ve already said, romance and sex don’t need to be intermingled for men to be happy. The opposite is often true for women. She’s going to be more inclined to slip into bed with you if you take the time to create an atmosphere that gets her aroused and feeling wanted.

A bedroom littered with your dirty socks, heavy metal posters, and a musty smell is not the best scene for romance. We’re not saying the bedroom needs to be pristine, but there’s nothing wrong with it being neat. Include some of her favourites—candles, music, even smells that you know she likes (scented candles, your cologne, or incense.) Keep the lighting soft and low and include a couple glasses of champagne or wine.

Make an Effort with Foreplay

If you want to make her feel romanced beyond all her expectations, you need to make an effort. We’re not talking about five minutes of kissing while you squeeze her breasts. What we’re saying is that you need to set the stage with foreplay. Be slow, be thorough, and caress her while you kiss her slow. Run your fingers through her hair or cradle her face in your hands. Heavy petting doesn’t have to be urgent. Your goal is to set the mood and to get her wanting you as much as you want her. Get her aroused slowly and deliberately so that’s she’s simmering with arousal and is impatient to get you into bed.

Play Dress-up

“Gift her lingerie of your choice”

We’re not talking about role-playing, even though that can be fun, we you’re your lady dressing up in lingerie. If you really want to give her a nice surprise, gift her with expensively beautiful lingerie that you chose yourself (or that she chose, and you bought to surprise her with.) If it’s something you’ve given to her because you want to see her in it, she’s going to feel beautiful. And if she’s feeling beautiful because of you, she’s going to want you, which is exactly what you want.

To take it to the next step, present her with the lingerie in the morning. Give her suggestive hints about what will be awaiting her later on in the evening. If she wears the lingerie all day, she’ll constantly be reminded of you and what you’ve got planned. By the time she gets home, she’ll be burning for you.
