If you have reached the time of your life where you’re ready to find a wife and partner for life, things can get a little bit daunting. It can be tough to make the transition from picking up chicks to searching for the woman that you want to spend your life with. Often, you come to the realization that you’re ready for the next stage in life before you have a partner to walk into it. Dating with an eye for the long term often starts the same way as any hook up: online. But you need to train yourself out of old habits and get some new ones if you want to find a woman worth keeping.

The Dating Dos:
Be extremely honest in your profile. You need this profile to really represent you because you need a woman who’s interested in the whole package
Post plenty of pictures (see the reason above)
Only message girls that you’re interested in. You’re not fishing for an ego boost anymore; you’re looking for a woman you might actually have something in common with. Don’t waste your own time looking to hook up
Commit to the idea of commitment. You don’t have to start saving yourself until marriage starting today, but collecting one night stands can’t be your top priority anymore.
Make a list of your “must haves” and your “deal breakers.” It can be tempting to go overboard here, but don’t include things on the list that are blatantly shallow and obvious. If you won’t date a woman with brown eyes instead of blue, you have bigger problems than finding your true love. However, not wanting to date a woman who already has children is a reasonable deal breaker.
The Don’ts that Will Keep You out of Trouble:

Don’t think that the first woman you talk to is the one. It can be tempting to think that the first woman you meet when you’re looking for something long term is your one and only true love. This is an easy trap to fall into, but you can be stronger than that. It might take a lot of dates before you meet the right woman, so take your time
Don’t rush a relationship; things have to build naturally. Even if you and a woman really click and have great chemistry, trying to force things will ruin everything.
Don’t give up too easily. Even if you have dated a lot of women recently and none of them were the one, that doesn’t mean that there’s no wife out there for you in the world. The odds of you finding her never change, so keep your head up and keep hoping
