Make Her Feel Safe by Meeting in a Public Place the First Date
If you have gotten to the point and she is ready to meet you for the first date, don’t blow it by telling her to come over to your house. The last thing any woman wants is to feel scared about meeting a guy. You are supposed to be doing everything you can to make her feel as safe and as comfortable as possible. This is why you should be meeting in a public place. Of course, meeting in a public place is not enough. It is about the kind of place you are meeting and what you will be doing while you are there. Here are some good examples of what to look for in a public place to meet.
Make Sure It Is Well Lit
“Meet her at a well-lit bar or some restaurant”
Meeting at a bar is all fine and good, but if it is a dark bar, anything can happen in the shadows. This is what she is going to be thinking as she walks in and she will be right back out the door. Just make sure the lighting is bright enough to see clearly across the room. If not, she will not feel as if she is safe. You do not have to meet in the middle of a grocery store to make her feel comfortable, just some place where she knows it will be seen if you try anything funny.
Meet When Other People Will Be Around
Meeting for lunch at a park can be a great way to have a first date. Meeting at the park after midnight might just get you arrested. The idea is to choose a place where other people will actually be at, so if you have to meet after midnight for whatever reason, just choose a place people might frequent after midnight. Even meeting at a 24-hour diner can be a great choice as long as you know there will at least be employees present to make her feel comfortable.
Choose a Place Where Privacy Is Possible

As soon as your date gets over the idea you are going to do something to her, she might turn to wanting to go somewhere more private. If you choose a place with private areas you have access to, you are going to be in the clear. You can simply make an excuse to leave the public area and go to the private area. If you do choose to meet in a public place where you cannot be private, have a location in mind if the subject should be talked about. Don’t be caught hemming and hawing when she asks you where you guys can go to be a little more intimate.
