Some women like to feel independent. If they seem to be put off by your holding the door or their chair, leave it alone. If they like it, keep doing it. If it is cold wherever you are at and she complains about feeling chilly, you can offer her your coat. You may feel a little cold at the moment, but she will recognize your chivalry and she will reward you for it later. Keep in mind whenever you are acting like a gentleman, you are making her feel like a lady, and you may reap rewards later on. As such, she will want to show you what a real woman can do. If being a real man is not enough to get you excited about acting like a gentleman, maybe sex can be a motivating factor.
