If you do not feel like asking your friends to take your picture, it is just fine to take your own picture. Just make sure you are paying attention to what is going on in the picture. If you are using your bathroom, straighten it up a little bit. She will not mind seeing your toothbrush in the foreground, but she will get grossed out if there’s toothpaste spit all over the mirror or dirty towels visible on the floor.
