Don’t Get Caught Cheating With This Advice
The one thing that every married dater has to fear is the possibility of getting caught.
This plagues every man who’s ever tried dating while married, and with good reason. We’re sure you’ve seen, as we have, the way that a man’s life can be ruined by being caught cheating.
This is why you need strategies for not getting caught.
You CAN bypass all the hurdles of married dating, as long as you understand what you’re doing. You just need to know what the dangers are of dating while married, so you can properly avoid any issues that may crop up while you’re having fun.
Lay a good foundation.
The first step to not getting caught is being prepared. If you know how things are likely to go, you’ll be far better prepared for anything unexpected happening, since you’ll already have everything else in place.
If possible, start setting up your alibi a while in advance. For example, start a poker night with the boys. Make it known that this is not a great time for you to be contacted, as the blokes won’t stop teasing you about having a nagging wife at home.
After a few weeks of seeing this as totally acceptable behavior, she’ll be much more likely to accept “poker night” as a way for you to get out of the house, especially if you can actually set up a few poker nights.
If you know you have a woman on the side who can always meet at a specific time, setting a traditional time for poker night can work very well for you. That way, you can always count on having at least that night free to sneak out and misbehave.
If you know that your dating schedule is going to be more sporadic, however, make sure that the “poker game” moves around at some point. You want this to be believable. You don’t want your wife wondering why poker is suddenly on a Sunday, especially if she has any other reason to suspect that something not-above-board might be going on.
Visiting a sick relative is not a bad excuse, either. Again, it’s something you can’t entirely control—however, this is much worse an excuse if your wife is very close to your relatives.
Here’s a tip that will help you with the “sick relative” excuse—pick an embarrassing disease for your relative to have. Whether it’s a real relative or not, make sure that your wife won’t be tempted to bring it up at Sunday Supper with your family by making it something that normal folk just wouldn’t talk about. That also makes it more believable that this person is really sick; something unconventional is much more likely to be believed, because people find it easier to swallow slightly unbelievable lies.
A third excuse you can use is that you’re traveling for work. If you’re really travelling for work, you’re quite lucky. Seeing a woman when you’re legitimately traveling for work is just about the best excuse you can have, so make good use of it.
Cover your tracks online.
You don’t want to be caught because you’ve been careless on your computer. Make sure that you’re not stuck in the past, because whether your wife is good with computers or not, you can never be sure that there won’t be some tech-savvy child over who knows how to look things up.
Delete your browser history.
Again, if you don’t usually delete your browser history, this might raise a couple red flags with your wife if you suddenly start being secretive about your browsing habits.
In this case, before you start, present to her an article that “someone at work” gave you about Internet safety, and how easy it is for a hacker to get into your files. Tell her you think it’s a good idea to start erasing the browser history. Make SURE that you’ve never used a dating site on that computer before this next step: ask her for help in figuring it out together.
That way, she won’t ever be suspicious that you’re deleting browser history, or using the incognito mode in your browser. Of course, if you can only use a personal computer that no one has access to because of work or something, this makes your life easier—but still browse carefully and delete everything when you’re finished.
If possible, get a disposable phone.
It’s a hassle and an expense, but it’ll keep you safer. This also makes it almost impossible to get found out, especially if you don’t use names in your phone.
