This type of smile is called the Duchene smile and it contracts both the muscles at the corner of the mouth and the muscles at the corner of the eyes and cheeks.

The fake smile, the one that you need to be able to recognize, is known formally as the Pan-Am smile and informally as the Botox smile. This smile doesn’t reach the eyes and is the universal smile given for politeness instead of actual pleasure. So when you’re talking with a woman you find attractive, examine her smile (in a subtle and not creepy way.) If she’s smiling and there are little crow’s feet around her eyes, she’s genuinely digging what you’re saying. If she smiles and it doesn’t reach her eyes, she’s not really into what’s going on.

A Flushed Chest

A flushed face can be a sign of all kinds of emotions—nervousness, anger, sexual arousal, and even embarrassment. Because it covers such a broad spectrum of emotions, flushed cheeks aren’t a great signal to take a cue from.

A flushed chest is usually indicative of arousal. Just take a minute and picture what nearly all women wear when they’re clubbing—it’s low cut goodness all around. This means that when you’re trying to score a hook-up in a bar, you can easily keep an eye out for chest flushing. Be discreet about it or it’s going to look like you’re staring at her boobs, and you don’t want to be that guy.

Real Laughter

A laugh is a reliable indicator that she’s interested. However, it can also be really confusing to figure out. If she’s interested, she’s going to laugh more. She wants you to know that she’s receptive to what you’re saying, and that’s good. However, just like smiles, there are fake laughs and real laughs so it can be really tricky to tell the two apart.
